Employee Benefits

    Medical Insurance:
BSI medical and dental insurance fully covers all full-time salaried employees. Hourly employees may purchase medical and dental insurance for themselves and their dependents at group rates with pretax dollars routed through the Cafeteria Plan. Additionally as part of the medical coverage, all full-time salaried employees will receive the benefit of a company paid, non-taxable Life Insurance.

    Vacation/Holidays:
All full-time salaried employees begin accruing vacation the first of the month after 3 months of employment. They also have the customary paid holidays, sick days and floating holidays as per the prevailing industry standards. All full-time salaried employees are eligible for Medical Leave.

    401 (K) Pension Plan:
All full-time employees may participate in this plan that allows you to defer part of your pre-tax compensation for retirement. The contributions (up to a maximum of 15%) and accumulated earnings are non-forfeitable and 100% vested.

    Cafeteria Plan:
Employee may redirect non-taxable dollars for company sponsored medical and dental, and for dependent care. This plan is designed so that employees do not pay taxes on money used to pay for benefits and child care.

    Workers Compensation:
All BSI W-2 employees are eligible for this benefit, wherein they may receive a portion of their salary until the time of return to work, for any job related injury or illness causing incapacitation. The limit on the total amount and the period they may draw benefits are set by the state. Additionally, BSI's Worker's Compensation insurance provides for payment of all reasonable medical expenses required from job related injury or illness.

    Continuing Education Program:
Employees can apply for financial assistance for career related courses. Once approval is granted, tuition is reimbursed, based on the grades received. Assistance is also granted to other non-credit professional development courses on a case-by-case basis.

    Seminars and Training:
BSI provide periodic training on the tools and sponsor the employees to seminars updating the technological enhancements. This is open to all BSI employees to enroll. Future extensions include establishing several more relationships with vendors of tools on emerging technologies. We aim to provide a minimum of three seminars per quarter. This will be enhanced to vendor partnerships with these corporations to provide training to our employees in these areas.

    Certification Training:
BSI believes that going through the vendor organized certification program is the best way of acquiring new skills and encourages all employees to do so. However, this requires recommendation by the client manager, as to the qualification and aptitude of the BSI employee to benefit from certification. Based on written recommendation by the client, BSI will reimburse the employee on certification training.
